
Well, we hope all of you enjoyed your holiday weekend and that you all were lucky enough to get a taste of spring weather like we were. Yesterday in particular was just beautiful here, so we decided to take full advantage of it. I started my day with a new adventure--my first belly dancing class!! There is a yoga studio downtown here that offers both yoga and belly dancing. I took yoga last fall and loved it, but decided to try something different this spring. It turned out to be really fun (and good exercise too!). There were about 15 in the class ranging in ages from teenagers to middle-aged women. The class meets every Saturday through May 16, so I am looking forward to some "me time" for the next several weeks.

Later in the day, after a family errand run, we decided to hook up the bike trailer and take a family bike ride to the park. It was Nathan's first time in the trailer and with his bike helmet. Much like Laura at that age, he was not a fan of the helmet!! As for the ride, it was perfect weather and mostly flat, but my legs still had a hard time keeping up with my husband. He was pulling both kids in the trailer and still leaving me in the dust :-( I have some work to do to be a

ble to keep up with him, but he gave me some good tips on using my gears and how to use my legs properly. The kids had a great time at the park sliding and swinging.
When we got home, we did some work in the yard, got the patio furniture out of the shed and fired up the grill for the first time of the year. It smelled so good to have burgers cooking over charcoal again!!

That sounds like an AWEsome day! It was still a bit chilly here this weekend and had rained over an inch on Fri so too wet to play outside! :-( But we are hopeful that our park visits will begin again soon too! Anyway, my sister took belly dancing a few years back and loved it -- have fun with it! Take care. Steph
