We are Fa-mi-ly!

As we mentioned Thursday, holidays are a great time for family. Since we were not able to travel, the Towner clan spent this 5-day weekend together enjoying each other's company. From sweating at the Y, cooking, playing games, completing chores and just hanging out together it has been a great time. There is nothing more important than family!

Now to be fair, we are far from perfect. Let's take Nathan "Mama's Boy" Towner, for example. Today in particular the boy decided he wanted to be velcroed to Mom's side at all times, otherwise he would subject us to the wrath of his banshee wails.......All kidding aside, he has had some much-needed quality time with good old Dad this weekend too! As for Laura, she is generally a very upbeat little person. But God help it if Nathan tries to get in the action with the toys. Look out!! :-) Who needs TV when you have young children at home? We haven't turned it on this weekend at all while the kids have been awake. They are so entertaining!

One more day and it is back to the grindstone for a while. Cliff has a 20 page paper due on December 8 for his graduate class (Hindemith Rocks!!), while final preparations are being made for the big Christmas program at the college (his real job). In the meantime, Gina will try to hold down the fort at home and keep the kids from blowing the roof off the place!
