Preschool Alumnus!

Thursday was Laura's last official day as a preschooler. It's hard to believe a whole school year has passed by. Laura has really, really enjoyed her time in preschool this year, and we think that the social time alone has been a huge advantage to her going. It's been good for her to make friends and learn to navigate her social interactions with them. In addition, she has learned how to follow the routine and rules of a school day, something that will make kindergarten much easier for her to adjust to this fall. All of the songs, art projects, science explorations and physical play on the playground have been wonderful for her too. I cannot wait to see how this little girl continues to blossom in kindergarten. In the meantime, however, I'll enjoy having her home all summer. :-)
