Nathan's First Soccer Game

Ladies and gentlemen....introducing a new fierce team in the Old Capitol Under 6 Soccer League.....the SOCCER WOLVES!!!

That's right, I am officially a soccer mom now.  Nathan started his first season of U6 soccer this week.  It is a bit chaotic, for sure, but there is nothing like watching the pure joy of a small child running his/her heart out.  This morning, the Soccer Wolves had their first game.  It's non-competitive (no score) at this level; honestly, they are just learning how to kick it toward the right end of the field at this point.  But boy, did they have fun!

We are excited for Nathan to learn to be part of a team, get some exercise, learn a few basic skills and most of all, have fun!  We were proud of him this week in his practice and his first game.  He behaved beautifully and really gave it his all, even when he was all hot and sweaty.

We are looking forward to more Soccer Wolves action all through the fall.  Hopefully we will have our uniforms for the next game; then I can post a picture of him in his official soccer gear. :)
