Life Lately

Here's a little look into our lives lately.

The kids had spirit days at school for Red Ribbon Week.  Halloween ended up being team jersey day, so the kids represented the Big Ten here in SEC country.
Go Huskers!
Nathan and his friend Hope at the class Halloween party.
Halloween was gorgeous here.  It was 80 degrees and sunny, and it was still quite warm at trick-or-treat time.  For the first time since we moved to GA, we were able to trick-or-treat in our own neighborhood.  It was a nice night to walk, and we ended up running into some friends of ours.  We spent the rest of the evening trick-or-treating with them.
Mario and Cinderella ready to head out for a fun evening.
It was a beautiful night in our neighborhood!
Nathan's soccer season came to a close.
The whole team hamming it up before the last game.
Being silly with Coach Rob.
Costumes and dress-up clothes make a regular appearance in our house.
One of Nathan's original character creations.
Last weekend, we went to the fall soccer "banquet", which really was a pizza party at the soccer field.  Each coach got to get up and have their team recognized.
The Grasshoppers get recognized at the fall banquet.
Interesting play happens in our house on the weekends.
Sunday afternoon Hot Wheel races in the kitchen.
That's quite a stunt track!
The kids continue to develop their appreciation for their favorite shows.  Sunday, I heard the kids role playing the Cosby Show episode where they turn the house into the "Real World Apartments" to teach Theo a lesson in money management.  Nathan even got innovative with an impromptu costume of Bill Cosby's dual parts in this episode.
"The name's Harely.  Harley Weewax."
Tonight the temperature is supposed to get down to the mid to high 20's.  That's pretty much the coldest weather we've had since we've moved here!  Of course, it is also supposed to be 70 again by Saturday.  :)
