Last weekend was a big one for Laura. It was her second year performing in the local production of The Nutcracker! The show is put on through the Georgia College Community Dance Program where Laura takes ballet. This year, there were over 200 dancers ranging in ages from preschool to adult. It is quite an undertaking to make the show work for that many people, but Ms. Amelia pulled it off for the 16th year in a row. This year, Laura was excited to have two parts. She was a Polichinelle with her entire Ballet II class, and she had the honor of playing a Bonbon in the Kingdom of Sweets scene with 3 of her fellow classmates. She did a great job with both parts, and she is excited to share the DVD with family over the holidays.

| Finally home and ready to relax. What a week! |
After having her regular ballet class (onstage) on Tuesday night, the full dress rehearsal Wednesday night, and 4 performances from Friday morning through Sunday afternoon, Laura and I were both ready to come home and crash Sunday evening. We are proud of our little ballerina and happy she has had this opportunity!
