Hip, hip hooray! Today was Nathan's birthday!! It's hard to put into words how I feel about this little guy. He has the sunniest personality. He is so full of optimism and joy. He is cuddly and affectionate, but also ornery and all boy. He has eyes and eyelashes that can melt my heart. He has the coolest, husky little voice. He is so verbal; the vocabulary this kid uses never ceases to amaze me. He is strong willed, but is quick to forgive others. He rolls with the punches; he has complained so little about his broken leg, and has instead found so many ways to get himself around the house on his own. He's a thinker, always ready with a solution to whatever problem you throw at him, and always, ALWAYS talking and asking questions. I cannot wait to see where life will continue to take him.
