Finally Home!

Our 21-day road adventure has finally come to a close.  We arrived back home last night in time for the kids' bedtime.  We are unpacked, the laundry is underway, emails are finally being read, grocery lists are being formed, and the general return to normal life has commenced.  We had an amazing time on each leg of our trip.  Our adventures included (but were certainly not limited to):

• visiting and/or passing through 12 states and 2 countries
• trying lots of interesting food
• the kids' first experience with a city subway
• my and Cliff's first time driving in a foreign country
• paddle boarding (Cliff), kayaking, boating, lake swimming (all of us)
• the kids' first experience on water slides
• lots of amusement park rides
• visiting/viewing several great cities 
• witnessing live starfish and crabs along the ocean shoreline
• seeing old friends along the way
• the kids' first experience using a few words of a foreign language in a foreign country
• seeing so many great things!!

This is just a teaser, of course.  Pictures of each leg of the journey (minus the wedding, which I've already posted) will come over the course of the next several days.  Stay tuned!!
