Vacation Days 1 & 2

We are off on our 2013 road adventure!  It's been a good first two days.  We left yesterday morning for a long, long day of driving.  Despite the hours on the road, the kids did great, and we managed to get into our hotel room by 8pm.

Today, we spent a wonderful, albeit tiring day on the National Mall in Washington, D.C.  We walked a LOT, but we saw lots of great stuff!

The WWII memorial is very well done.
