Tuesday we said farewell to a lovely person. Ms. Anne, the children's coordinator at our local library, retired after 34 years of dedicated service to the kids of this community. Tuesday also happened to be the last day for story time until June. Because of the special occasion, story time was extra special; so much so that we went twice! Nathan, Cliff and I went to the morning show, and then I took the kids to the afternoon show so that Laura could enjoy it too.

| "We will miss you, Ms. Anne!!" |
Both sessions of story time were packed with fun songs, special guests and lots of laughter. We are truly lucky to have such great programs for the kids to enjoy!
| Ms. Sue and Ms. Anne do such a great job engaging the kids. We are thrilled that Ms. Sue will be taking over Anne's job! |
| After the morning story time, Nathan and some friends made a little fort under one of the tables. |
Some of us moms banded together to get Anne a retirement gift. We managed to collect a nice sum of money to put toward a Lowe's gift card so Anne can enjoy her gardening projects in retirement.
| Ms. Anne was so humble and touched! |
| Nathan, Joshua and Caleb had fun clowning around together before the afternoon story time. |
| There was a packed house for both shows on Tuesday. Everyone wanted to wish Anne well! |
We are glad to hear that Ms. Anne plans to stop in from time to time to volunteer for certain library programs. We can't wait for May 20 when we can sign up for Summer Reading Club!
