Nine Months Old!

Nathan officially turned nine months old yesterday! It's hard to believe his birthday will be here in just 3 short months! Here are some of his latest developments:

• 2 teeth are in--the front bottom two
• He can army crawl with great determination and speed. Still hasn't done the hands and knees crawl yet, but he can get where he wants to go anyway!
• Sitting a little stronger and more independently each day.
• Eating home pureed food more and more and jarred baby food less and less. He loves it when we puree spaghetti for him!
• Loves to play with empty boxes of all sorts as well as old magazines and ads from the newspaper.

Laura is getting a little better at sharing everyday. We've found that the Mega Blocks (giant Legos) are the best toy for all of us to play with at once. They're safe for Nathan and there are enough of them to keep everyone busy. I caught this picture of the kids together yesterday and cracked up at their totally opposite expressions.
To be fair, Laura is biting down on a hard candy, but doesn't she look like she wants to beat somebody up?? Nathan, on the other hand, is starting to show the first signs of hamming for the camera. :-)
